They can also learn how to use software programs like Adobe Illustrator to create digital designs. Understanding the fashion industry: pRTICIPANTS learn about the history of fashion, current trends, and the business side of the industry. They learn sustainable fashion practices and ethical considerations in the industry. Developing a portfolio: create a portfolio of their work that showcases their skills and creativity. This may include sketches, illustrations, photographs of garments they have created, and other design work. Collaborating with others: PARTICPANTS LEARN TO work collaboratively with others on design projects. This can include working with other designers, manufacturers, and clients.
